How It All Began
Crossroads Feed and Ranch Supply was started in the Summer of 1995. We
are a family owned business that works closely as a team to ensure that
we can give our clients the best possible service. We started our first
location in Modesto California as a small one room store carrying only
a small selection of women’s and men’s’ clothing, with
only a few options in accessories and boots. Our feed, tack, supplies
and equipment were very limited in quantity. As the years progressed we
quickly learned that there was a large need for more.
Shortly after opening our first store, we realized that there was room
for expansion. We created a retail store that was more than five times
the size of the original store, with choices in clothing, accessories,
boots, tack, horse/pet/livestock supplies from a large group of product
manufacturers. With this greatly expanded new inventory we were able to
meet the demands and needs for all of our customers. Now, not only do
we meet these needs of Central Valley locals, but we are also expanding
from our original Modesto location to stores in other parts of California
and expansion through a presence on the web.

Our promise to you is simple. We, as a team of owners, managers, and employees,
strive for excellence. We want to make your shopping experience, enjoyable,
and hassle free, and in some cases educational!! We want to offer products
that will meet all of your needs as well as give you enough product selection
so that you may choose what works best for you.
The Future
In the next year the Crossroads Feed and Ranch Supply team will be very
busy. Not only are we excited and proud to present our on-line store we
are also excited about the building of our newest location in Turlock
California. The new store in Turlock will be five times larger than our
original location in Modesto. We will be opening this new 30,000 square
foot store in late 2005. With the knowledge and experience that has been
accumulated in the years past we know that this new store will be equipped
with all the latest trends and product availability. We will be able to
stock our shelves with a vast variety of products to meet all customers’
needs.
Along with the on-line store and the Turlock location we will also be
increasing the inventory in out Sierraville location. When we acquired
this Northern California store it had a limited inventory, but with the
help of our Crossroads management we have been able to offer a larger
selection in all products. We will increase our inventory in this store
to ensure that it has the same great quality products and service that
all of our other stores offer.
With three stores to serve the public we are confident that we can meet
the needs of all of our customers around the Central Valley and beyond.
By offering the internet store we will be able to expand our customer
base and more efficiently serve more clients than ever before!
